A Quantum Astro Physicist from MIT in Boston was here at the farm Tuesday doing research/experiments for Through the Wormhole … For the gravity based episode they needed a deep pond in which they could drop a 5,000 lb. wrecking ball into to visualize, study & watch the resulting waves. She dropped an apple in first – a relatively small object and then the big one – to see the difference in wave size and how far they travel out from the original drop site. The untitled episode will be broadcasted sometime next year and we will definitely keep our blog readers aware of an airdate ☺
